BUILD STRONGER RELATIONSHIPS
Relationships matter. All of us have a very real need to belong. When this doesn't happen as we hoped it would, having someone bear witness during these difficult times and offer professional insights and support can be extremely helpful.
SMOOTH THE TRANSITION
A painful ending is often the precurser to a new beginning. Kim's training in Collaborative Divorce and specialized counseling of straight spouses are two ways of providing hope and support for wives and husbands in transition.
DISCOVER THE REAL YOU
People have many different motivations for coming to therapy. You may be going through a major life transition, experiencing stress or anxiety, or maybe you want to set new goals and plan for a better life. You can have the authentic life you were meant to live.
“Kimberly helped me through a rough time in my life, helped me better identify my strengths and weaknesses, and most importantly how to run with it and live a healthier mental being. The things she helped me understand about myself had an immediate and profound impact on the rest of my life.”

Hi, I'm Kim. Welcome.
Has your husband told you he's fallen in love with another man? Are you a wife in love with a woman, but don't know how to come out to your husband?
I can help, no matter which side of the closet you're on.
While I'm experienced in working with a wide range of issues, my personal passion comes from helping couples and families navigate the coming out of a spouse.
If I've learned anything in my personal and professional lives over the years, it is that nothing is black and white. Life is complicated and messy, and sometimes we all need a compassionate and non-judgmental ear to help us get through the muck. The coming out of a partner within a marriage is especially sticky, and few therapists fully understand the dynamics on both sides. I do, because I've lived it...and come out on the other side!
Whether it's a gay spouse, unrelenting depression, communication problems, stage of life issues, or the loss of a loved one, I hope you'll reach out to me. I am available by phone or email, and very much look forward to partnering with you on your journey.
If you’re seeking help to overcome depression or anxiety, cope with loss, improve personal or professional relationships, if you’re ready to achieve emotional growth and take control of your life, then contact Kimberly Brooks Mazella today to schedule your appointment.
Because everyone deserves to live an authentic life.
What Others Are Saying:
"Kim's hard work (and patience) helped me through a particularly difficult time. I know that I have the courage and strength to finish these last bits of work and re-emerge as the person that I am supposed to be -- happy and at peace. I could not have gotten this far without her knowledge and guidance."

"Kim is so encouraging; that means a lot to me. I spent my life playing it safe, so this was a good opportunity for me to take a chance. She played a large part of getting me back on my feet and for that I'm eternally grateful."
